Planning: Your Business Operating Assessment

We take a business-centered approach to solution design and implementation—blending the subject-matter expertise from you and your staff with our database design know-how to create the best design and implementation strategy for your success.

We begin with requirements gathering to evaluate your business and user goals. We identify the workflow processes and functionality that will best serve your entire organization or workgroup. This “whole systems” approach provides an understanding of what is most pressing and urgent, balanced with what is required and important—promoting a design that meets your company's current needs while preparing a solid foundation for its future.

Our assessment begins with a broad overview and proceeds to refine and define your requirements, specifications and project plan. In a short time, we are ready to begin development and are able to manage the cost and time frame of the project within fifteen percent of the estimate.

Design: An Interactive Process

Getting the integrated solution you need to run your business requires a solid understanding of how it will function *before* it is completed. Communicating the design of the solution before it is functional is a little bit tricky, but it is essential to an effective solution design process. Providing a mockup of your identified requirements early in the process allows your end-users to experience the features, functionality and workflow before committing to the final design. Users have the ability to influence the final look, feel and workflow of the software at different stages of the process (early corrections make a big difference in the cost and performance of the final product).

Development: One Step at a Time to Learn as You Grow

Implementing too much new functionality too soon can lead to user disorientation and frustration as they acclimate to unfamiliar workflow and data management demands. And some ideas, which seemed essential in the beginning, may prove to be unusable or unnecessary as user needs and business processes evolve in the refined structure of your new solution.

Like the design process, implementation is an interactive process in which communication is a key factor for your continued success

Support: We're Still With You

Once implemented, your databases will run without us, which is just what you wanted. Still, as your company grows and evolves so do your business and database needs. We’re here when you have questions or need additional components or increased functionality.
