Main Menu - With an interface design similar to the organization's original web site, the Main Menu is the default opening menu for volunteer data-entry staff and administrators.
Senior-citizen volunteers enter patients' profile information and details of patients' medical visits at mobile clinics established by Mission of Mercy.
Mission of Mercy is a non-profit organization, providing free medical and dental services and prescription medications to the uninsured working poor, homeless and economically-disadvantaged people of Arizona, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Texas.

| Patient Registration and Editing - In a loud, busy and sometimes chaotic environment (usually a church gym or an auditorium), volunteer data-entry staff want to quickly find, edit and/or create patient and encounter (medical visit) records in order complete all patient data-entry activity for the day so the entire mobile clinic can be packed up and moved to it's next clinic location.
This user-interface won the popular vote of FileMaker Developers in two of three design categories featured in the "August New Beginnings Design Caucus" sponsored in August 2008 by the good folks at SmallCo.

| Patient Encounter/Visit Editing - Easy to use, easy to read and easy for data-entry volunteers to understand.
Volunteer data-entry staff are able to quickly and accurately enter details of patients' encounters/visits by selecting values from pull-down menus in an interface designed for easy viewing. Doctors' diagnoses, lab work requests and written prescriptions are coded for efficiency and ease-of-use.
|
| |
| ICD-9 Codes Adding and Editing - Adding, editing and deleting Custom ICD-9 codes is done from a single, list-view layout.
Administrators (only) are able to add, edit or delete the customized ICD-9 codes and definitions the organization uses for patient diagnoses in an easy-to-understand interface. These codes are used by volunteer data-entry staff when entering patient encounter/visit details.

| EEOC Encounter Report > Finding Records - After entering an initial date range for their report, administrators can narrow their search results by entering additional search criteria for: clinic location, birthdate, gender, marital status and ethnicity.
Allowing administrators to control the search criteria used in report generation allows them more flexibility and control in the information displayed in their reports and frees them from "developer-dependency."
|
| |
| EEOC Encounter Report > Previewing and Printing - After additional search criteria is entered, the report is generated and administrators are presented with a preview of their report before printing.
This EEOC report is summarized by clinic, date of encounter and patient ethnicity.
After previewing the report, the administrator clicks the "Continue" button, and the report is sent to the printer.
|
| |
| Chronic Disease Report > Previewing and Printing - In the same way the EEOC Report is generated, administrators enter an initial date range for the Chronic Disease Report, then narrow their search results by entering additional search criteria. Once generated, their report can be previewed before printing.
This report displays the number of patient encounters/visits within the specified date range and is summarized by clinic and chronic disease.
